GOLF INSTRUCTOR PROGRAM

LASU offers a certificate program for our students as well as general public. The LASU certification is available to those who may plan a career in teaching golf. Through our intensive golf instruction program, students not only improve their own individual games, but also become familiar with all the necessary knowledge, skills, and methods that they can apply to becoming golf instructors.

Program Description

LASU offer 3 different Teaching Certificate Levels: General Level (Level I); Advanced Level (Level II); Master Level(Level III). The length of session is 8 weeks long for General Level. Another 4 weeks are needed to get each Advanced Level and Master Level. Applicants are required to pass Playing Ability Test by LASU.

Program Objectives

The objective of the program is to help the student attain a fundamental grounding in golf teaching, including an introduction to the theory and practice of golf swing, golf rules, and club repair and fitting.
